We kick-off a new Sunday School year on Sunday, September 8 starting at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall!  Following a short time of worship, everyone is invited to participate in several hands-on activities:

• bring one soup ingredient (a carrot, a potato, a can of corn, a can of broth, etc.) that will be used to make pots of soup for Zion Mennonite's Table of Plenty

• make a "Thinking of you" card for our homebound members

• fill pencil cases for 5th graders and EMC Elementary School. A list of donated items for the pencil cases can be found in the Narthex.

• bring sturdy plastic bags & crochet needles and learn how to make balls of "plarn" and plastic sleeping mats for the homeless.

• make a "thank you" craft to be handed out during a local Veterans Suicide Prevention fundraiser being held in September
